Waymo says its driverless cars are fully autonomous on the streets of San Antonio as of this month. Some of the company’s cars in San Antonio still have somebody behind the wheel, but others are self-driving.
Waymo is already offering driverless rides in Austin, Atlanta, and San Francisco, but doesn’t have a firm date for starting the service in San Antonio.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says there have been 65 crashes in Austin this year involving driverless Waymos.
