Early voting in the 2026 primaries starts Tuesday. Republicans and Democrats will decide which candidate will be on the ballot in the November general election.

The candidate who wins more than half of the votes in each primary race will face the other party’s winning candidate in November. If no candidate gets a majority of the votes in a primary race, the top two will face off in a runoff election on May 26th.

Early voting continues through February 27th. The primary election is on March 3rd. Photo ID is required to cast a ballot.
