By An Edinburg student has died after collapsing last week during soccer practice. Fourteen-year-old Christine Fontana was reportedly warming up for practice at Robert Vela High School when she collapsed on January 15th. Her family says she died from an aneurysm last Thursday. A GoFundMe campaign in her memory has raised nearly 15-thousand dollars.
