An Edinburg daycare employee has been arrested after allegedly striking a child in the face. Forty-five-year-old Brenda Rae Perez was arrested Monday on a charge of injuring a child.
A woman reported that her child had several injuries after he was dropped off at a daycare in the 55-hundred block of South Sugar Road on January 20th.
Police obtained surveillance footage that allegedly shows Perez hitting a one-year-old child in the face. Her bond has been set at 50-thousand dollars.
