The City of Edinburg is warning residents about a suspicious email that appears to be from the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. The email asks for payment for an application approval fee.
The city says the email may look official, but it is actually a scam trying to get money and personal information from victims. Anyone who receives the email should not click on any links or send payment to the scammers.
