The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly weekend crash north of Edinburg. First responders were called to East Ingle Road north of Jasman Road around 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Investigators say a man driving a Nissan ran into a Can-Am side-by-side vehicle while trying to pass it. A passenger in the Can-Am died in the crash. That person was later identified as 25-year-old Juan Antonio Villasana of Edinburg. No charges have been filed, though the investigation is ongoing.
