Edinburg’s Municipal Court will be allowing some residents to take care of outstanding fines and fees later this month.

The court’s amnesty program will begin on February 23rd. Anyone with an outstanding Class C misdemeanor can come to court to pay fines or arrange a payment plan without being charged additional fees.

Charges for failing to appear will also be waived for those who come to court voluntarily. The amnesty program will continue through April 30th.
