Edinburg Police Looking At Circumstances Of Deadly Car Wreck


An Edinburg man was killed when he crashed his car into a utility pole this past weekend.

Edinburg police say 23-year-old Everado Ledesma was driving west on East Richardson Road early Sunday morning when he lost control of his Toyota Camry, skidded off the road, and slammed into an electrical pole near Kenyon Road. Ledesma was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology test as they continue to investigate what led to the deadly crash.
