The Department of Education says it plans to bring students back to school in the U.S. by this spring. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said yesterday he wants to safely reopen as many schools as quickly as possible.
Cardona said the recently passed coronavirus relief bill will provide 122-billion-dollars in funding to help with school reopenings. He also announced a “reopening summit” that will be hosted by the Education Department next week for states and local school districts to discuss best practices for reopening.
