Eleven Year Old Killed In Apparent Hunting Accident

A Texas father who killed his eleven-year old daughter in an apparent hunting accident is not being charged with a crime.

The shooting happened as the man was unloading a high-powered rifle Saturday after the pair returned to his truck.

Captain Tyler Owen of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office says the victim was a sixth-grader, who often went hunting with her dad. Counselors are now at her school.
