Police in Elsa are issuing a warning after the recent discovery of vape cartridges that were laced with fentanyl.

The police department says the cartridges could be circulating locally and may already be in the hands of teenagers. The department is urging parents to speak to children about the dangers of vaping unknown and unregulated substances.

The police department is working with other law enforcement agencies to investigate the source of the altered vape cartridges.
