By A San Antonio Fire Department engineer is out on bond following her arrest on Saturday for child endangerment.
Jennifer Torres is accused of leaving an autistic 12-year-old girl alone in a filthy home. Police found the girl while conducting a welfare check last Friday at a home on Spotted Oak Woods, near I-10 and North Loop 1604.
The house was reportedly full of pet feces and urine, including the girl’s room. The girl and her brother are being looked after by a neighbor. An SAFD spokesperson says Torres is on administrative duty.
