FAA Fines Five Passengers, Who Disobeyed Mask Mandates, Over $60K

The FAA is fining five passengers more than 60-thousand-dollars for refusing to wear masks. The penalties are for interfering with flight attendants regarding federal mask mandates.

The Department of Transportation says two of the passengers are accused of assaulting flight attendants. In a typical year, the agency sees up to 150 formal cases of bad passenger behavior. However, this year that number has jumped to 25-hundred.
