The Federal Aviation Administration has completed an environmental review of SpaceX’s request to launch more missions from Starbase. The review concludes that there would be no significant environmental impact if SpaceX launches and lands up to 25 Starship missions a year from its South Texas Starbase.
The FAA added that the review does not mean that SpaceX can start launching more missions immediately, noting that the company must satisfy all safety and licensing requirements before a final decision is made.
SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk announced recently that the 12th launch of the Starship prototype could happen sometime next month.
