The FDA is approving the first new Alzheimer’s drug in two decades. Massachusetts-based Biogen makes the drug called Aducanumab. It’s injectable and is supposed to slow cognitive decline in early-stage dementia patients. However, critics say there’s not enough evidence that it actually works.
