Federal Buildings In Brownsville To Continue Mask Requirements

Anyone heading to the Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport should make sure they have a mask with them.

The City of Brownsville says they will continue following an executive order from the Biden administration requiring masks in all federal buildings and on federal lands.

The mask order applies to all visitors, contractors and employees at those facilities in the city. A press release from the city said the decision is part of a conservative approach meant to protect government workers.
