Feds Celebrate Border Wall Progress

The federal government is celebrating the progress of the Trump administration’s border wall construction. In an event Monday, Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection officials lauded the achievement of the now nearly 400-miles of the new border barrier built along the U.S. southern border with Mexico.

Acting DHS chief Chad Wolf praised the work accomplished so far through the efforts of the Trump administration, DHS employees and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Wolf says another 450-miles of wall are expected to be finished by the end of this year.
