Final preparations are underway as the Big Apple tests out its New Year’s Eve ball ahead of the upcoming celebration. This New Year’s Eve, revelers in New York City will have the chance to see not one – but two – ball drops.
The traditional ball drop at midnight will be followed by a second drop four minutes later. The second drop will see the ball decorated in red, white and blue to mark 2026 as the 250th birthday of the United States.
