Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed five water-cooling towers at a decommissioned power plant in Bacliff.
Fire crews from Galveston and Brazoria Counties responded around 2:30 a.m. Sunday to the fire at the PH Robinson Power Plant on State Highway 146. Officials say they don’t yet know whether foul play was involved. There were no injuries reported.
