A pair of former Texas college professors are suing to get their jobs back. And the both have the same lawyer. Amanda Reichek is representing both Tom Alter and Melissa McCoul. Alter, who taught at Texas State, was fired for his comments during a conference on Socialism.
McCoul was terminated from her job at Texas A&M over her teaching of gender identity in a children’s literature class. In both cases, the lawsuits blame “politically motivated discrimination”
