Two firefighters are recovering after being injured during a home fire in Mission. First responders were called to a home in the 11-hundred block of Washington Street around 5 p.m. yesterday.
The fire destroyed the home where it started, but crews were able to control it before it could destroy a second home. The injured firefighters suffered first-degree burns and are expected to be okay. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
