By Five San Antonio city council members are calling for a special meeting to possibly censure Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones.
The proposal follows a confrontation last week between Jones and Councilwoman Sukh Kaur. After the confrontation, Kaur filed a formal code of conduct complaint against Jones.
The special meeting will take place a week after the end of a two-week investigation. The five council members complain about “repeated instances of unprofessional conduct” on the part of the mayor.
