Flight Delays, Cancellations Top 6,000 As Storm Batters Eastern U.S.


It’s another day of travel headaches as a winter storm slams the East Coast. FlightAware says there have been more than six-thousand delays and cancellations so far today.

Airports including Reagan National in the Washington, DC area are bearing the brunt of the impacts. Just over 80-percent of the flights originating from Reagan have been canceled. Another 71-percent that were scheduled to go to that airport were axed.
