More border security is coming to South Texas. The Department of Homeland Security announced ten new construction contracts to build hundreds of miles of what is called “Smart Wall.”
It’s a combination of steel barriers, lights, cameras and more buoys in the Rio Grande. About 80-miles of the floating border wall will be deployed.
