There is growing talk of draining a lake in the Texas Hill Country as part of the search for victims in July’s deadly flooding. But Kerr County Commissioners say they’re not at that point, yet.

Commissioner Tom Jones says draining Ingram Lake would be a massive undertaking that would cost millions of dollars. And, he warned, it would put more pressure on the County to raise taxes to pay for it. He says, currently, crews are using sonar and cranes to sift through the debris
