A new food hall is coming to downtown Edinburg. The city’s Economic Development Corporation says the Garcia-Kalifa family will invest one-point-six million dollars to transform a building on East Cano Street into the Las Almas Food Hall.

The space will offer several different types of food, a coffee shop and a full-service bar. It will also host live entertainment and community events. The space is expected to open in the fall.
