Forecasters Say Polar Vortex To Cause Ice Storms

It could be a slippery and cold rest of the week from Arkansas to West Virginia as ice storms are forecast across the region.

Winter storm watches are in effect as over half-an-inch of ice could accumulate today and tomorrow. Forecasters are warning thick layers of ice could make roads slippery and snap tree branches, causing power outages. Heavy snow is also predicted, with up to a foot of snow possible in parts of the Mid-Atlantic.
