Former FDA Head Expects Wider COVID Vaccine Eligibility


Former FDA head Scott Gottlieb believes many Americans may be able to get the coronavirus vaccine sooner than expected. He tells CNBC he thinks states will expand eligibility because fewer people are getting immunized than anticipated.

Dr. Gottlieb believes there will be no need for rationing doses by the end of next month. According to the CDC, more than 22-million doses of COVID vaccine have been distributed but fewer than seven-million shots have been given.
