By Former Galveston Beach Patrol Chief Peter Davis is suing the Galveston Park Board and others. Davis was fired for reportedly breaking the rules by allowing some visiting lifeguards to stay in the Stewart Beach Pavilion.
The federal lawsuit claims Davis was on the receiving end of office politics. Davis is asking for a jury trial in an effort to get his former job back.
