Former President George W. Bush says the country’s immigration visa system is antiquated, and there needs to be an overhaul.

Speaking at the South-By-Southwest Festival, Bush said the U.S. needs to get politics out of immigration and get “sober-minded” people involved in reforming the current system. He also supported the border wall as part of a security system that includes technology, and wants a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. This is Bush’s first interview as he kicks off a new book tour.
