FTC Supply Chain Investigation Targets Nine Retailers

The Federal Trade Commission is taking a deeper look into what’s causing supply chain problems. Walmart, Amazon, Kroger and six other retailers have been ordered to hand over documents about the situation.

The FTC is investigating how bottlenecks are affecting companies big and small amid the pandemic. Shipping delays have led to a backlog of products waiting to be unloaded from cargo containers, leaving some shelves empty.
