GA Governor Pushes New Open Carry Gun Law


Georgia is trying to loosen gun laws in the state. Governor Brian Kemp is backing legislation that would allow people to carry a concealed weapon without a license. He says law-abiding citizens should have their constitutional rights protected.

Kemp is running for re-election this year along with at least three other Republicans. The only Democrat is Stacey Abrams. Her campaign manager claims Kemp is pandering and threatening lives.
