A Georgia sheriff’s official is under fire for saying the Atlanta shooting suspect was “fed up” when he killed eight people Tuesday.
At a news conference Wednesday, Captain Jay Baker of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said shooting suspect Robert Aaron Long was “pretty much fed up” and “at the end of his rope” during the Atlanta-area shooting spree, and that Tuesday was a “bad day for him.” Baker’s comments are being criticized for being insensitive to the victims.
