Gas Prices Up 2 Weeks And Counting

The rise in gas prices stands at two weeks, and counting. Triple-A’s survey finds the national average price for regular is up to almost three dollars and 28-cents a gallon, around half-a-cent higher than Monday’s average.

Gas prices are up ten cents a gallon over the past month and a dollar-nine higher than a year ago. Oil industry analysts blame the run-up on the surging price of crude oil, which is now above 80-dollars a barrel.
