Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene says she feels “freed” after being kicked off her House committees. The Georgia Republican called a Capitol news briefing and said she is sorry for things she has said that are wrong or offensive. She also said, “Free speech really matters.”

Greene said people in her congressional district are thrilled with her and angry about her treatment by the House. She called critics hypocrites and said the GOP is now the party of former President Trump.
