GOP Leaders Introduce Keystone Pipeline Preservation Jobs Act

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and a group of GOP leaders want to resume building the Keystone XL Pipeline. Together, they’ve introduced the Keystone Pipeline Preservation Jobs Act.

McCarthy spoke from the Houston Ship Channel, saying President Biden put tens of thousands of Americans out of a job by canceling the pipeline’s permit.

Republicans say the pipeline was actually a greener way to transport oil and provided good-paying jobs for an energy source the U.S. needs to maintain its global standing.
