A Republican senator says his side of the aisle had no input into the massive COVID-19 stimulus bill passed by the House. President Biden’s nearly two-trillion-dollar coronavirus relief package, including 14-hundred-dollar payments for many Americans, is now before the Senate.
Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, Louisiana’s Bill Cassidy says there are aspects of the bill he supports, but there are other parts that appear to be partisan favors.
Cassidy fears the current bill could be a trigger for inflation that could devastate middle income families nationwide.
