Senator John Cornyn says the government shutdown is “dumb.” He called the democratic leadership “desperate” and accused them of wanting to keep the shutdown going because they’re afraid of getting voted out of office.
Cornyn says his democratic colleagues are “peeling off” over pressure from federal workers, who are not getting paid.
