Gov. Abbott Honors First Responders With 2021 Star Of Texas Awards

Governor Greg Abbott is honoring those who have served and protected Texas communities. Forty-six first responders, including peace officers, firefighters, and EMTs, received the Star of Texas Award on Friday.

Abbott thanked each responder, saying, “You all represent the very best of Texas, and we are grateful for the risks you take every single day to keep us safe.”
