A vote is set for today on a bill that would end the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

The House Rules Committee voted along party lines early this morning to advance a government funding bill that’s already passed in the Senate.

House lawmakers will return to Washington DC today after a long recess for a procedural vote on the bill, which would fund the government through January 30th. A final vote is possible before the end of the day.
