Governor Greg Abbott is sending Texas National Guard members to protect the border.  On Saturday, Governor Abbott announced he is mobilizing members of the National Guard and the Department of Public Safety for a border protection mission at the least protected areas along the border with Mexico. The move comes after an Axios report last week cites Panama’s Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes [[ moe-EE-nuss ]] who alerts to the movement through her country of tens of thousands of mostly Haitian immigrants who somehow made it to Colombia and are now headed north.
