Halloween To Be Celebrated With Limits In Willacy County

Willacy County officials say Halloween will be celebrated within COVID-19 limitations this year. Valley Central reported Tuesday that County Judge Aurelio Guerra, in consultation with several city mayors from around the county, issued a public health proclamation on what will be the acceptable Halloween activities this season.

The allowed low risk Halloween activities include pumpkin carving, virtual costume contests, movie night and others starting the morning of October 23rd and ending before midnight on November 2nd, but Trick or Treating is not on the list. Find out the details at the Willacy County Facebook page.
