Harris County Planning To Hire Temporary Medical Staff


Harris County is planning to hire temporary medical staff to help with the latest coronavirus surge. Commissioners approved a 40-million-dollar plan today for the extra personnel, with another almost two-million going to buy COVID tests.

The county’s COVID alert system is now at red with County Judge Lina Hidalgo saying there’s a new tsunami of cases in Southeast Texas.
