Health Department: Limit Holiday Gatherings

The Houston Health Department wants people to limit holiday gatherings for the next couple months to avoid coronavirus. The department suggests people don’t do in-person gatherings, but take advantage of technology advancements by using video calls.

Houston Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Persse has also suggested people who go to in-person gatherings quarantine themselves for 14 days. The city is worried about a spike in coronavirus cases over Thanksgiving and Christmas.
