Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra takes a close look at an immigrant shelter on Fort Bliss. Becerra toured the site yesterday. He says originally there were thousands of girls and boys at the site but the girls have since been relocated or placed with relatives or a sponsor.
Becerra says in all now, just under eight-hundred immigrant boys are at the Fort Bliss shelter. He says that number is 40-percent fewer kids than were housed there after the site first opened several months back.
