Two Hidalgo County residents are suing a group of bus companies after being kidnapped while traveling in Mexico.
The lawsuit filed Tuesday says the two plaintiffs were kidnapped on May 29th and held for ransom. They claim Autobuses Ejecutivos and five other companies knew their customers were being kidnapped and did nothing to warn potential passengers.
They are seeking a million dollars in damages for physical, mental and emotional distress caused by the kidnapping.
