Hidalgo County To Resume Visitation At Adult Detention Center

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office will begin allowing in-person visits to those being held at the county’s adult detention center.

The Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that visits will resume Wednesday. All visitors must wear a mask and will have their temperature taken in the visitation lobby. Children will be allowed to visit on the first full weekend of every month. Visitation had been suspended in August due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.
