Hidalgo County To Send Aid To Central Texas After Flooding

Hidalgo County is preparing to send aid to central Texas following last week’s deadly flooding. The Hidalgo County Commissioner’s Court held an emergency meeting Tuesday to discuss a memorandum of understanding with the county’s Community Service Agency.

The agreement will allow the agency to offer personnel and equipment to the Concho Valley Community Action Agency, which is located in San Angelo. Officials expect the aid to arrive in central Texas later this week.
