Hidalgo County Woman Convicted Of Intoxication Manslaughter In Jail For Drinking

A Hidalgo County woman on probation following a conviction for intoxication manslaughter is back in jail after being accused of drinking.

Franshely Salinas of Sullivan City was arrested last week after officials accused her of violating the terms of her current probation. She continues to be held without bond following her first court appearance yesterday.

Salinas was convicted of intoxication manslaughter after a crash in Weslaco in 2018 that left one person dead.
