Plans for a high-speed rail line connecting three of the state’s biggest cities is, once again, heating up.

Travis County has approved a six-figure feasibility study, looking at a line that would run north to Dallas and south to San Antonio. Commissioner Jeff Travillion was joined by others on the court, who feel that rail will ease congestion on I-35.
